Our councillor and Chair of Esher Residents Association was out on the river today, supporting the Thames Swim Against Sewage, https://tinyurl.com/3w28ke52 where 8 world-class swimmers swam the length of the Thames in a non-stop 3-day relay, finishing in Westminster. This first-of-its-kind event highlights the serious pollution in our rivers, lakes and seas, and calls on the Government to stop sewage pollution in the waters we use for swimming, surfing and recreation.
