Lower Green Community Centre and Sandown Park introduce retired racehorses to local children and other visitors

This was an event hosted by Lower Green Community Centre and organised by Sandown Park Race Course. Two retired race horses, Coneygree, 2015 winner of The Cheltenham Gold Cup and Step Back, winner of the Sandown Park bet365 Gold Cup in 2023, were brought along so that children and others could meet them.

It was the brainchild of Sarah Drabwell, the General Manager of Sandown Park Race Course who is keen to give children an opportunity that they might otherwise never have to meet and find out more about horses. https://www.facebook.com/sandownpark?locale=en_GB
